Windows Features - Prerequisites (Server 2008 and 2012)

This section describes the Windows Features prerequisites you must configure prior to installing Document Generation Services. This procedure is intended for Windows Server 2012 users.

Note: If working with Windows Server 2008, you must install .NET Framework 4.6.2 prior to adding roles.
  1. Windows Server 2012: Navigate to the Windows Features dialog in the Control Panel.
  2. Under Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 Advanced Services, select WCF Services.
  3. Under Windows Identity Foundation 3.5; select Windows Process Activation Services and its options.
